Guide Sisters in Rome

We offer standard or taylor made tours to suit your needs. Suggested services are half day (3/4 hours) or full day (6/8 hours).
On request we offer tour guides on the occasion of temporary exhibitions theme or artist in the various museums of the city.

ANCIENT ROME:
The itinerary includes a visit inside the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill as well. We make reservations to the archeological sites you require.
Duration of the visit 3 / 4 hours.

JEWISH ROME
An interesting stroll in the Jewish Ghetto, with a visit in the Synagogue and the Jewish Museum.

MONUMENTAL ROME
A stroll in the most beautiful streets of the city, with large Plazas such as Piazza del Popolo, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and other surprises on the way. Duration of the tour 3 /4 hour.

CHRISTIAN ROME
Visit of three or four papal Basilicas of the city, such as St Peter in the Vatican, S Paul outside the Walls, St Mary Major and St John in the Lateran, the tour may have a duration of 4 /5 hours depending on line for access to the Basilica of St Peter.
You must follow a dress code (no shorts, no sleeveless no miniskirts):

PAPAL ROME
A Tour designed especially to places inhabited by the Popes in the last centuries from Castel St Angelo, going to Via dei Coronari, Piazza Navona where there was the residence of the Pamphili Family, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Farnese with the famous Palace, sit of the Farnese Pope. We go on to via Giulia borrowing its name from a Pope who commissioned the famous fresco painted by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel, with previous reservation you can see the famous Borghese Gallery, Galleria Doria Pamphili, Palazzo Barberini or the Capitoline Museums.

VATICAN ROME
Visit the Vatican Museums according to different itineraries such as Egyptian Museum, Etruscan Museum, Christian Museum, Ethnological Museum, Picture Gallery, Candelabra Gallery, Tapestries Gallery, Geographical Maps Gallery, Museum of Modern Art, Chiaramonti Museum, Braccio Nuovo, Pius Clementine Museum, Raphael Rooms, Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica. On request you can visit the Vatican Gardens. Dress code is required (no shorts, no sleeveless no miniskirts).

UNDERGROUND ROME
SOME OF the most important Mitrea in the city such as the Mithraeum of St Clement. Upon request you can see the hypogeum of The Colosseum, or you can choose to see one of the Catacombs in Rome.

As far as  the outskirts of Rome, we plan excursions such as:

CASTELLI ROMANI
Excursion out of town to the famous Alban Hills, about 40 minutes away by car, traffic permitting, you will see beautiful cities like Castel Gandolfo (Pope summer’s residence), Albano, Marino, Genzano, Nemi, Rocca di Papa, Grottaferrata, Frascati etc..
Upon request we can stop for  a wine taste, or pork meat (porchetta), salami and  local products.

TIVOLI
In this city about 40 minutes away from Rome, we suggest you to see Villa Adriana, delicious imperial Villa built about 1800 years ago and in excellent condition of preservation. Then we drive to Villa D’Este, the great Renaissance Villa, sit of Cardinal Ippolito D’Este, famous for its gardens with fountains and water jets.
